Now it’s time to harvest the cereals in order to produce good portuguese bread. At our Family Estate – Torre do Frade we are in the end of the soft wheat cycle, this particular ceral is transformed in flour wich can be used to bake cakes or bread. It is like we say in Portugal, on the table first we must have bread and only than the wine. Here at Torre do Frade in Alentejo the cadency is exactly the same first arrives the wheat from June to July and from August to september arrives the wine harvest.
