Refund Policy

Right of withdrawal

Under Decree-Law no. 24/2014, you may withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving your order.

To exercise this right:

Send an email to geral@torredofrade.pt with your order number and the products you wish to return, within 14 days of receipt.
Return the products within 14 days of that notice, to the address we will provide.

Bottles must be returned unopened, with the capsule and seal intact, and well packed. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

Refunds

We refund the price of the products and the original shipping cost (at the standard shipping rate) within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may wait until we receive the products before issuing the refund. The refund is made using the same payment method used for the purchase.

If products are returned opened or damaged through improper handling, the refund may be reduced to reflect that loss in value.

Faulty wine

If a wine is faulty (for example, a corked or spoiled wine):

Put the cork back in the bottle without pouring out the wine.
Contact us at geral@torredofrade.pt with your order number and a description of the problem.
We will arrange collection of the bottle for analysis. Once the fault is confirmed, we will replace the bottle at no cost. If the same wine is no longer available, we will refund its price.

This is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (Decree-Law no. 84/2021) at no cost to the customer.
