Seller information
The online store torredofrade.pt is operated by Sociedade Agrícola da Herdade da Torre de Curvo, Lda., tax number (NIF) 501 819 185, with registered office at Rua de Campo Maior, 126, 7350-226 Elvas, Portugal, registered with the Commercial Registry of Elvas under no. 419, with a share capital of €5,000. Scope
These Terms of Service govern the sale of products through the online store to end consumers. By placing an order, the customer confirms having read and accepted these terms, as well as the Shipping Policy, the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy.
Minimum age
The sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under 18 is prohibited. By placing an order, the customer declares to be 18 or older. Torre do Frade may refuse or cancel orders whenever there are indications that the buyer or the recipient is under the legal age, and the carrier may refuse delivery in the same circumstances.
Products and prices
Prices are shown in euros and include VAT at the applicable rate. Shipping costs are shown at checkout, before the order is confirmed, and are added to the price of the products except where free shipping applies under the Shipping Policy.
Photographs are for illustration only. The vintage shown on each wine's page is the one that will be shipped; if that vintage sells out, the customer will be contacted before shipping to accept the following vintage or cancel the order with a refund.
Products are subject to stock availability. In case of an obvious pricing error, Torre do Frade will inform the customer, who may accept the correct price or cancel the order with a full refund.
Orders
The order is accepted when the customer receives the confirmation email. For orders of more than 24 bottles, the customer should contact Torre do Frade to agree on shipping conditions.
Payment
We accept credit and debit cards, MB Way, Multibanco, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment is processed at the time of the order through a secure payment platform. Torre do Frade does not have access to full card details.
Invoicing
The invoice is issued in the name and with the tax number provided at checkout. If you need an invoice with a tax number, please enter it when placing the order.
Shipping and delivery
Shipping conditions, delivery times and costs are described in the Shipping Policy.
Right of withdrawal and warranty
The customer may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days, under the Refund Policy. Products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under Decree-Law no. 84/2021.
Liability
Torre do Frade is not liable for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer, or by force majeure.
Complaints and dispute resolution
Customers may send complaints to geral@torredofrade.pt or through the Electronic Complaints Book.
In the event of a consumer dispute, the customer may refer it to CNIACC, the National Centre for Information and Arbitration of Consumer Disputes (www.cniacc.pt). More information on the Consumer Portal.
Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by Portuguese law.
Changes
Torre do Frade may update these terms. Each order is governed by the version in force at the time it is placed.
